Immediate availability. Provide music for weekly Sunday morning service (10 a.m., 9:30 a.m. during summer), three special services (Maundy Thursday and two Christmas Eve services), three optional services when held at our church, and up to five special worship services. Work with Music Director and choir including Sunday morning rehearsals prior to workship service. Shall prepare and provide appropriate prelude and postlude music. Knowledge of blended and contemporary services would be helpful, but not required. Weddings and funerals shall be compensated seperately. Salary of $155.00 per service. Brand new Allen Q345 organ (installed September 2008), 3 manuals, full AGO pedal board, 36 pipe stops in four divisions, 21 digital stops. 1995 Yamaha C-4 grand piano. Part-time position. Select, prepare and play music for one weekly service. From mid-September until early June, work with Choir Director to accompany talented church choir of about 14 members at rehearsals on Sunday mornings and some Wednesday night, with performance during the Sunday services: Maundy Thursday, 2 Christmas Eve services. Weddings and funerals compensated separately. Facilities may be used for private lessons. Salary is negotiable, commensurate with experience. Four weeks paid vacation.
